DIY Mega Moisture Mask. Mixing: 1. Split an avocado, remove the seed and spoon the whole thing into the blender bowl (or blender cup in this case). 2. Add a little less than 1/4 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil. If you have Vitamin E gel capsules, pierce them and squeeze out the oil. If you’d rather, you can buy the oil for topical use. 3. Pour 1 teaspoon of your favorite oil– jojoba, olive oil, sweet almond oil or coconut oil. I usually stick to olive oil because it’s worked wonders for me every time with this mask. 4. Blend it up until it reaches a whipped/creamy consistency. Application: You can either put apply this all over or your can do the ponytail method! Put your hair up in a ponytail, saturate the ends and then cover with plastic wrap. Try to give it about 10 minutes at the least, go for 20 if you have the time! Then hop in the shower, shampoo and condition as usual. Blow your hair out or air dry for soft, shiny goodness!

2DIY Lace Scarf: 1. Supplies Needed: You'll need a large strip of lace fabric appx 3 yards long x 12 inches wide, white embroidery thread, and scissors. 2. Cut fabric to size. Remember, depending on the size of the ruffles, your scarf length will be between 1/2-1/3 as long as your fabric is. Then, we started our first ruffle 2 inches from the side. We simply secured the first stitch with a knot and started stitching every 1/4 of an inch. (For larger ruffles make your stitches 1/2 or 1/3 of an inch) 3. Once there were a few stitches we lightly pulled our thread tight, causing the fabric to ruffle. When making the ruffles we made sure to not pull the thread too tight, but leave it slightly loose so that the ruffles are more spread out. The tighter your thread the shorter the scarf! 4.We did this until we got all the way to the end of the fabric, and then repeated the process on the other side to make two separate ruffles with about 8 inches in between.

Blanket yarn bag DIY: 1. Supplies: Thrifted blanket or rug, yarn (we used bright yarns c/o Premier Yarns), leather, scissors, needle, large buttons. 2. Begin by cutting out the base and sides of your bag. You can make the bag whatever size works for you best. Our measurements were a 24x16 in. base and the sides pieces were 6 1/2 in. wide and then 24 inches all along the edge of the side. 3. Next, cut out a strip of leather for the handles. The strip should be 4x the length of your bag which made ours 96 inches. This is a very long strip but you can definitely sew strips together so you won't have to purchase as much leather. Once you've cut out the leather, sew it all together, making one big hoop. 4. Next, begin sewing the leather onto the bag with the yarn. We made big, messy stitches with different colored yarn all the way around. 5. Once you've finishing sewing on the leather it will look like so. Make sure the straps have an even length on both sides. 6. Then, begin sewing on the sides of the bag. 7. After you've sewn on the sides, stitch on three buttons to the front. 8. Lastly, stitch along the edge to secure it from fraying. (We only had to stitch one side of the top hem because we used the edge of the blanket for one side). As you're stitching the top hem, add loops of yarn symmetrical to the buttons on the other side. This will be the latch to close the bag shut.

DIY Heart Sweater: 1. Make a heart pattern with paper and place it on the sweater to make sure you love the size and shape. 2. Once you've created the perfect pattern, use it to cut a heart out of your fabric. We used polyester fabric because it has some stretch and won't fray. 3. Simply pin it in place and sew it on using the zigzag stitch. 4. Wear your new sweater proudly. You did it!!

DIY Masked + Printed Geometric Flats: 1. Use masking tape to create a fun, geometric pattern. Think stripes or triangles... any shape you are comfortable cutting out about 50 times. ;) I cut masking tape pieces in half with varying lengths for a fun, irregular stripe. 2. Be sure to press the edges of the tape over the seams around the sole and inside the shoe for the cleanest results. 3. Use matte fabric paint and a small, flat brush to paint a coat over the entire surface. When dry, remove the tape and enjoy your new pair of flats. It's fun having a piece of clothing that no one else has.

DIY Studded Cape. You need: - a fleece blanket - A leather buckle enclosure - 40 round prong studs - Scissors - Strong glue Steps: 1. Fold the blanket twice into a square. Away from the folded edges, cut a semi circle of fabric to create the rounded edge of the cape. 2. Open the circle up and cut a rounded neck hole. 3. For the top layer, cut from the middle of the neck hole out to the outer edge. Then (and this is optional) cut foot long armholes in the front of the cape with your scissors. 4. Take your studs and press them into the fleece down the front of the opening of the cape. 5. To secure the studs, press the prongs in. 6. And then carefully press the prongs down. 7. Add studs around the neckline. 8. Add glue to the buckle. 9. Press the buckle onto the cape and leave to dry overnight.

DIY Statement Earrings: Cut the end of the plastic knife off with sharp scissors. Angle the wider side to create a pointed tip. Pierce a hole using a needle. To make it easier, heat up the needle with a lighter before piercing. Link the earring wire to the pearl chain, then to the angled piece using jump rings.

DIY Tassel Boot. To create: Cut 16 strips approximately 1/4” wide and 8” long from the leather trim. Next, fold the bundle of strips in half and use another strip of leather to wrap and knot around the top of the bundle to create a tassel. Leave 2” at the end of this leather strip; tape it on the inside of the boot using gorilla tape and press firmly.

Vintage Inspired Dress Makeover: 1. Supplies: A simple, sleeveless dress, white cotton fabric, scissors, 3 buttons, needle and thread. 2. Cut the fabric into a long strip. You'll want it to be twice as long as your desired collar. Our strip is 16 inches long, making our finished collar 8 inches. It's 6 inches wide. 3. Begin sewing this strip half an inch from the edge with this ruching technique. 4. Once you've finished one side it should look like this. Repeat this process on the opposite side. Be sure to not stich one side too tight causing it to be shorter than the other. 5. Once both sides are sewn, adjust the ruffles so that they are balanced and even on each side. 6. Next, stich all four corners of the collar onto the front of the dress. 6. Lastly, sew some pretty buttons down the front! All done!

DIY Polkadot Backpack: Paint the surface of the brads with assorted nail polish colors and leave to dry. Slice small slits evenly across the front of the back pack with a swiss army knife. Insert the brads and bend to attach. P.S.- add a dab of glue to the backs of the brads to ensure they are fastened securely.

DIY Faux Fur Collar: Draw a collar template in the size and shape of your preference. Trace the template with a Sharpie on to the faux-fur fabric; cut out with scissors. Repeat to create two identical collar cut-outs. Glue the back of the two pieces together. Once dry, slice a small opening with scissors on both ends. Screw the spikes onto either ends of the chain. Attach to the collar by sliding the spikes through the slits.

DIY | STUDDED HEADBAND Materials: - fabric covered headband - sew on studs - hand sewing needle - thread Steps: 1. Cut a piece of thread about twice the length of half of the headband. Start sewing at the middle of the headband, and sew each stud one by one. 2. Finish sewing one side, about 3 1/2" in length. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other side of the headband. I sewed the left and right side separately in order to keep the thread manageable (to prevent knotting).

DIY: Delicate Hand Chain Materials: - delicate chain - beads - thin beading wire - lobster claw - 4 small jump rings - needle-nose pliers - round-nose pliers - wire cutter - ruler/measuring tape Steps: 1. Cut several lengths of the delicate chain at 1 1/4", 1 3/4", 3", and 2 x 3 1/4". 2. Take the 3" chain and loop both ends onto a small jump ring. Also loop one end of the 1 1/4" chain. Close the jump ring with the needle-nose pliers. This creates the ring section. 3. Cut a piece of wire about 6" long. It is good to use a piece that is longer than needed, so that it is easier to handle. Loop the wire through the end of the 1 1/4" chain. Then, wrap the wire around the round nose plier, with one end of the wire about 1 1/2" long, like photo. 4. Stick one side of the round-nose pliers into the wire loop you just created. Then, take the shorter end of the wire and wrap around the loop you created (at least 2 times). Cut excess wire. This video is helpful to visualize (here). 5. String about 3/4" of beads through the longer end of the wire, then create a loop with the wire and round nose pliers (like prior). String the 1 3/4" chain into loop your created. 6. Stick one side on the round-nose pliers into the wire loop, to hold it in place. Take the loose end of the wire, and wrap around the loop (at least 2 times). Cut excess wire. 7. Add a small jump ring to the end of the 1 3/4" chain. Also, loop in one end of each 3 1/4" chain. Close the jump ring with the needle-nose pliers. 8. Add a small jump the end of one of the 3 1/4" chain. then, add a small jump ring and lobster claw to the end of the other 3 1/4" chain. This creates the bracelet section.
